Where this tower begins to differ from the mini-tower is in the drive bays. The small form factor has one 3.5” internal bay that can be converted into two 2.5” bays for expansion, as well as one external slim optical disk bay. Like the mini-tower, it is equipped with 10 total USB ports: four USB 2.0 (two rear, two front) and six USB 3.0 (four rear, two front). One of the front USB 2.0 ports has PowerShare. There is also one internal USB 2.0 port.
The micro chassis supports 16GB of the same type of memory across two DIMM slots. Like the other towers, it has SATA the for the interface but with SSD drives of 2.5” for a maximum capacity of 4TB. There is only one internal expansion bay, which is 2.5”. It is equipped with six USB 3.0 ports, two in the front and four in the rear. One of the front ports has PowerShare.
