Firstly to call the great Buddhist Shwedagon Pagoda at Yangon a 'pagan' temple is just insulting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shwedagon_Pagoda

Apart from that I get why most of them are included - but Bali!?!?!?! Not at all on the same level (or even type) as the others. A shrine to the worst of tourism perhaps?

Love this site!

Wonderful site, but agree with Mike's comment about "Pagan". Come to think of it, arn't ALL the wonders shown here the product of "Pagan" humans? As for Bali, I do not agree that it is just a shrine to tourism. It is another facet of Indian civilization's stamp on SE Asia, just as Angkor Wat and the "Pagan" temples.
